Masters of Success - John Lee - 3 key elements to a successful business

Masters of Success - is a conference held on Kuala Lumpur last weekend, from 15-17 July 2016. It was a whole day event and various speakers are present to share their knowledge with the audiences. I've a chance to join the conference for 2 days, which is on 16-17 July 2016. So let me share with you what the speakers shared and also what I've learnt throughout the session.

Let me give you a little bit of background:
John Lee - CEO and co-founder of Wealth Dragons. He started investing in property in his early 20s. He achieved his goal of becoming a self-made millionaire by the age of 27. His experiences inspired him to share his knowledge with others and he was soon teaching seminars in property investment throughout the UK. He subsequently gained an international reputation as a motivational speaker and has shared stages with Bill Clinton, Alan Sugar, Richard Branson, Jack Welch (ex-CEO of GE) and Randa Zuckerberg (co-founder of Facebook).

Throughout the session with John Lee, I can learnt that he is value-centered and he kept emphasis on value creation to help people and provide solution. He mentioned, in order to be successful in any business, we must know how to provide value for your prospects. John share his 3 key elements on how to be successful in any business.

  1. Value - focus on giving value or solving problem to your prospects. By doing this you will be able to create a product that will suit the market. This is the first step in order to successfully identify a correct market.
  2. Followings - what he means is to create trust and build followers (or simply leads). This will be able to help in publicity and gain more authority.
  3. Sales - with massive followings, all you need to do is offer the service or product. Important thing in this step is you need to know how to sell to your prospects.
  4. $$ - if the product or service sells, then money will simply flow in.

In summary, providing values to your prospects will eventually leads to earning more money. This is not only applicable for business, even if you are an employee you can move further up the ladder. Example is like helping your boss solve his/her problems all the time, which in turn you will be rewarded with a promotion. The more value you provided to a company, the more $$ the company will be willing to pay you. Is that simple.

I hope you enjoy reading my blog. Until next time.
