A simple tweak that I did for worry-free every year...

Well, the other day I was doing a quick audit on my website and I found something I want to do long time ago.

It’s not really a big deal. But not doing it worries me. So I decided to take a quick search and found the solution for it.

If you’ve been building websites, then you must know this small tweak. Which is in your footer note of your company’s copyright year to-date.

So what can be done so that every year I don’t need to worry about changing the copyright note and always up-to-date?

Here’s what I did.

I’ve put in below HTML/JavaScript note so that it will display exactly like I wanted it to be.

So these codes can be inserted into your theme plugin, page builder, or anywhere in your website or blog.

If you want to insert into “Twenty Sixteen” theme, just follow below steps.

In your Wordpress admin area >> Appearace >> Editor >> Theme Footer

What's a link wheel and how it looks like?

Today, let's talk about link building.

So why are we doing link building? This is so that we can get a higher appearance or relevancy on SERP (search engine result page). The more links from related niche website linked to your webpage, it means high likely your webpage is relevant to user's search.

If you're thinking of putting all the backlinks from various website onto a single main website, then think again. Yes, it may boost your ranking for a while, but sooner or later it will fade out. Why? Because it's not natural, and search engine will notice that and de-rank your page.

And there's this method that actually works well for link building purpose and appear to be more natural. This method is called link wheel. Below is how the link wheel looks like.

You can see you have a main website (your page that you monetize) in the middle, and there's various niche related websites which have backlinks to the main website. On top of that, the niche related websites (website X) will link to the next website X as well. So in this formation, it creates a link wheel.

Link wheel is particularly useful to create massive backlinks to rank your webpage in SERP. It basically mimic the natural link building way, and thus your main website will not be penalized. Not only you improve the relevancy, it helps create traffic flow back to your main website as well. Thus this method is widely used in SEO world.

Take a look below on how website X article looks like. They usually follow below format.

You can see that at the beginning of the article, we usually put the anchor text with link to main website. Then followed by the article itself. And at the end with another anchor text but link to next website X. This creates a good link juice back to your main website with anchor text and also appear natural link to another website. By this way, it will improve your overall ranking for the anchor text that you want to rank for.

I've tried some services in Fiverr and it works well for me. So far no website being penalized. I hope you can benefit from this method as well.

This question always being asked by newbies because they don't have the experience in being a vendor. Well, it's actually down to a few of the elements. To be honest, everyone can become a product creator. It's just whether you want to do it or not. The most important thing is you need to know what's the product going to be like.


In this digital world, there's something called digital publishing. So the product that we're talking about is actually "digital". These type of product is like ebook, training course, cheat sheet, video training, etc. So the good news is, it can be delivered all around the world through internet.


So here's the steps that you can take.


#1: Come out with an idea that solved someone's problem

- Do a brainstorming session with friends on problems, and come out with solution.
- Join an active forum in your niche and look for the problem they always talked about, come out with a solution.
- As long as you can come out with a solution to someone's problem, this product sells. It can be in any niche. Someone might be looking for solution to solve a water leaking problem, and if you have an immediate ebook guide or know-how video, the person will thank you.


#2: Produce the product

- You need to make a choice whether it's a reading material or video.
- For reading material, you'll have to create the ebook or one-page pdf with step-by-step to solve the problem.
- For video, just use your normal handphone to take the video. Make a step-by-step video, maybe a series. If you know how to edit is even better.
- Alternatively, you can hire someone to make the product for you. But my recommendation is to produce yourself. It's not that hard.


#3: Place it in a marketplace and start selling!

- It's simple. Just engage in any of the digital publishing marketplace and publish your product on that platform. The easiest would be either Warriorplus, Clickbank or JVZoo. These platforms also have a lot of active affiliates to help you promote the product as well.
